The role

We are looking for a Credit Risk Specialist with solid experience to join our team of finance professionals in Singapore office.

 

The ideal candidate has a can-do attitude, and a desire to grow and be a part of the company’s success.

 

  • • Implementation and participation in the development of the credit risk management policy and procedures within the company
  • • Local support of the management and employees in credit risk-related matters
  • • Credit risk standing assessment for existing and new counterparties
  • • Maintaining of used databases/models
  • • Monitoring of the local trading team’s AR portfolio
  • • Collection and utilization of data to build risk segmentation and mitigation strategies
  • Has 3+ years of relevant experience in Asian market. Credit Risk evaluation skills are a must
  • Has acquired at least a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or another related field
  • Is fluent in Mandarin and English
  • Possesses sound market knowledge in the APAC area and expertise in the shipping and/or oil & gas industries
  • Is comfortable to work with large amount of data, understands the business behind the numbers and can dig for alternative data if needed
  • Can work independently from a team in a different time zone and make responsible decisions within the limits of received authorisation and the Company’s policies
