THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic professional to join our team as a Regional Sales Manager. As a key player in our fast-growing company, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing a high-performing team, and delivering outstanding customer service in your region.
The ideal candidate has a can-do attitude, and a desire to grow and be a part of the company’s success. The Regional Sales Manager will be reporting to the Head of Bunker Trading and working full-time in our Singapore premises.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage the sales team within your region to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to grow market share and revenue
- Leverage your extensive bunker trading experience to provide valuable insights and market intelligence to both clients and the team
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure individual and team success
- Continuously monitor market trends, competition, and regulatory changes, providing regular reports and insights to support decision-makingm
- Manage and mitigate financial and operational risks associated with bunker trading, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Develop and manage the regional sales budget, tracking expenses, and reporting to senior management on financial performance
OUR FUTURE COLLEAGUE
- Has at least 10 years’ experience in bunker trading, with a strong track record of successful sales and customer relationship management
- Has at least 2 years’ experience in a managerial or supervisory role, with the ability to lead and motivate a sales team
- Is knowledgeable in the maritime industry, including bunker fuels, lubricants, and shipping logistics
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to adapt to a fast-paced and rapidly changing business environment
- Mature and confident individual who can handle high-pressure situations and complex challenges
- Has acquired at least a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Shipping, or any other relevant degree
- Is fluent in English, fluency in Mandarine is considered a strong benefit
